Cooking with Tabletop Smoker ~Smoked  Cheese, Mixed  Nuts and Dried  Figs~

Tabletop Smoker is a great tool to add some twists to your cooking.

You don't need a big smoking machine. This smoker is small but works well!

Let us introduce some easy smoking recipes! 

1.Smoked Cheese

Ingredients 0.5lb(200g) cheese, Smoking wood

How to prepare

  1. Leave cheese at room temperature until dry - about 30 minutes.
  2. Cut a piece of aluminum foil slightly larger than the cheese to be smoked.
  3. Place the foil on the bottom of the smoker, taking care not to block the ventilation hole. Light the edge of the smoking wood (30g/1oz.), and put it in the smoker.
  4. Place the cheese on a cooking sheet, and place on the grill rack. Place the lid on the smoker, with the upper vent fully opened.
  5. Every 30 minutes or so, wipe condensation from the food or lid bottom with a paper towel. Smoke for two 2 hours.

2.Smoked Mixed Nuts

Ingredients 0.2lb(90g) Salted Mixed Nuts, Smoking wood

How to prepare

  1. Place the foil on the bottom of the smoker, taking care not to block the ventilation hole. Light the edge of the smoking wood, and put it in the smoker.
  2. Put mixed nuts on the grill rack and put the lid on. Leave the top ventilation hole fully open.
  3. Smoke for 15 minutes. (JUST 15 MINUTES!!) To achieve an even roast, stir the nuts every few minutes.

3.Smoked Dried Figs

Ingredients 5~6 pcs Dried Figs, Smoking Wood

How to prepare

  1. Place the foil on the bottom of the smoker, taking care not to block the ventilation hole. Light the edge of the smoking wood (30g/1oz.), and put it in the smoker.
  2. Put dried figs on the grill rack and put the lid on. Leave the top ventilation hole fully open.
  3. Smoke for one hour. After smoking, leave the item in open air for 30 minutes to remove the odor of smoke.
